I can't tell if I'm getting hit with allergies, or a cold. Either way, my nose is starting to feel raw, and Pirate's stopped jumping at the sound. What the heck is out that could be causing allergies?

I'm a sucker. That's about the -only- explanation I can think of for why I'd accept a man begging me to take time to help him rip up old water logged flooring... Clearly my ass isn't busy enough if I've the time to be taking on jobs like that.
A very good excuse if you ask me to be doing more with the forge, right?

Last day will be the 29th. Until then, I get to help prep whatever comes up, organize and answer general questions, filling in where ever I can.

Done. It's finally fucking done.
Got word that all the lawyers are finally letting the will of Trystan Jube stand and all the money grubbers who were trying lay claim to some bit of his property, say he owed them cash, were long lost children, ect, have backed off. So, June is fully and officially owner, and I'm looking for my escape route. We got a new secretary hired and trained, so I've got to decide a fitting gift for a huge thank you and all to the temp we had.
I'm cutting back my hours and handing everything over to June. We'll see what she thinks of it all. Now, let's see if Jack will start giving my handyman hours again...

I'm finding Twitter to be a dangerous, dangerous thing. And I'm very glad that posts are locked. Or I'd be job searching a little earlier than planned.
Also, anyone know an actual good lounge singer type? Long story. Suffice to say, karaoke will not cut it.

So I've decided. This cat? Yeah, he's now a hotel cat. There's no way he's staying in the same house as Pirate.
Also, if I'm going to continue in my role as .... Whatever my new title is... Hotel Manager? Building Coordinator? "Lady" In Charge? ... Whatever, I'm going to need someone to take over my old job, and figure out what the heck my new pay is. And then, vacation. With no way to contact me. They can just deal with it.
